Kobe on Ibaka's low blow: 'I probably would've smacked him in the mouth'

By Royce Young | NBA writer

The league is currently reviewing Serge Ibaka'a low blow to Blake Griffin, but in the court of Kobe Bryant, there's already been a ruling.

“I probably would have smacked him in the mouth,” Kobe told reporters Monday, via the L.A. Daily News.

That's assuming Bryant was able to stand after taking a shot to a sensitive area.

“I would've dealt with the pain afterwards,” Kobe said.

Said Dwight Howard, who could find himself battling Ibaka on Tuesday night if the league doesn't hand down a suspension: "You gotta wear a cup."

“He goes hard,” Howard said. “Balls out. Serge Ibaka.”

If Ibaka is suspended, it'll change the look of the Thunder pretty significantly. Ibaka has always been a key piece against the Lakers frontline. However, with Pau Gasol still out, the Lakers tend to play smaller, so the Thunder aren't going to be as in need of their frontcourt depth.

But we don't know what the league has ruled yet.
