Lakers-Warriors highlights: Brandon Ingram blocks Kevin Durant 3, leads to dunk
Not bad for a rookie
In July, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant said that 19-year-old Los Angeles Lakers rookie Brandon Ingram is better than Durant was at his age. That was a questionable statement, but it validated the conversation about the similarities between the two players.
When the Warriors met the Lakers in November, Durant again praised Ingram, adding that he would encourage him and help him out. Meanwhile, Los Angeles coach Luke Walton said it was unfair to compare the two.
Keep all of that in mind when watching Ingram block Durant's shot from behind on Friday, then get an assist on the other end:

And the replay:
There aren't a lot of players who can recover like that on the perimeter and come up with a block. It takes excellent timing and, above all, extreme length. Durant is one of those players, and it's a little strange to see him on the other end of it here.
Still, I'm with Walton: The comparisons are not fair at all.
