NBA Finals 2017: Klay Thompson will buy a toaster for Warriors if they sweep Cavaliers
The secret to the Warriors is in Klay Thompson and his toaster
Klay Thompson might not be shooting well these playoffs, but he might be more responsible for the Warriors dominance the last few months than anybody else. Back in March, Thompson was asked to sign a toaster of all things. It was a weird request, but he put his signature on the little toaster that could and sent it on their merry way.
Since signing that toaster, the Warriors have only lost one game and blown through the playoffs undefeated. Clearly the toaster has raised the Warriors to a level that could sweep through the entire playoffs. Thompson says if they manage that then he'll buy the team a toaster.

"I don't know if we'll do it it's gonna be pretty hard ... I'll gladly buy the whole team a toaster if we go 16-0"
Nobody has ever managed to go through an entire playoffs completely undefeated. The 1982-83 76ers and 2000-01 Lakers have been the closest to achieve that feat, however, with one loss each. If the Warriors manage to pull this off then they'll mark their legacy down as one of the greatest teams in NBA history.
Thompson is right that sweeping the playoffs would be incredibly hard, but if there's a toaster in it for them then Golden State needs to play extra hard. A good toaster is the perfect appliance for any home, because toast is delicious.
