Steve Kerr: Michael Jordan might have won more titles if Twitter existed
The Warriors coach says his former teammate would have been motivated by the slights
If only "Crying Jordan" existed in the '90s.
Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Friday that, had Twitter been around during Michael Jordan's playing career, his former Chicago Bulls teammate might have more than six rings, via ESPN's Marc Stein.
Steve Kerr on how Michael Jordan would cope with Twitter noise: "There would have been so many more slights. He might have won more titles"

If anyone knows about Jordan's intensity, it's Kerr. The former Bulls guard famously got in a fight with Jordan at a practice during training camp in 1995. Anybody who has spent significant time around Jordan -- or anybody who watched his Hall of Fame acceptance speech from which the Crying Jordan originated -- knows that he became (arguably) the greatest of all-time because he used any perceived slight as motivation.

Jordan wanted people to challenge him, doubt him and criticize him so he could prove them wrong. Imagine if, back then, he had an endless supply of challengers, doubters and critics! Kerr's comment was tongue-in-cheek, but seriously, it would have been amazing to see how he used a platform like that and how it might have affected his image.
Even now, I wish Jordan used Twitter. We know that he knows how to use it:

Honestly, would it surprise you if Jordan had a secret Twitter account to keep track of everything people say about him? I really hope this is the case.
