In suffering his second serious injury in as many years, Rams receiver Danny Amendola was believed to have sustained a broken collarbone in St. Louis' win against the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.

Luckily for St. Louis, Amendola's injury isn't as serious as first thought.

According to CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora, Amendola's collarbone is not broken. Instead, he has a shoulder separation, and it's likely only a six-week injury (great news for the Rams, since there was talk that this could end Amendola's season for the second consecutive year).

Through five games, Amendola leads the team with 31 receptions and 351 yards. In his place, it sounds like Austin Pettis and Steve Smith will get the opportunity to take extra reps.
