Panthers' Cam Newton expecting second child with longtime girlfriend Kia Proctor
Less than a year ago, Proctor gave birth to Chosen
Cam Newton and his longtime girlfriend, Kia Proctor, are expecting their second child. As NBC Charlotte reported on Tuesday, the baby is expected any day.
"We are excited," Cecil Newton, Cam's dad, told NBC Charlotte's Michelle Boudin.
Less than a year ago, Proctor gave birth to Chosen, the couple's son. Newton has been a proud father. He wore this shirt during the Panthers' Super Bowl run last year.

And in the lead-up to the Super Bowl, Newton casually revealed that Chosen was already walking after a month, which is why we nicknamed Chosen the "Superbaby."
No word yet if Newton and Proctor have settled on a name for their second kid.
"I have no idea what this one is going to be called but we will be happy," said Jackie Newton, Cam's mom.
On the field, Newton has been involved in a tough 2016 season, recently getting benched for a series after failing to meet the team's dress code. At 5-8, the Panthers do not appear to be heading toward the postseason.
Still, happy times are ahead for Newton. He'll welcome his second kid into the world and celebrate Chosen's first birthday on Christmas Eve.
Hopefully, Newton dresses up.
