Siemian injured his non-throwing shoulder while being sacked and driven into the ground
Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian was carted off the field during the second quarter of the team's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with what appeared to be a shoulder injury. He was sacked by Clinton McDonald and had his left shoulder driven into the ground.

Rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch relieved Siemian, throwing a pass on his first three plays. Lynch was taken with the No. 26 pick in this year's draft after the Broncos traded up from No. 31 to grab him. Siemian beat out Mark Sanchez for the starting quarterback job in Denver during the preseason, and Lynch has acted as his backup during the early part of the season as the Broncos have started 3-0.
Siemian was coming off his best game as a pro, having completed 23 of 35 passes for 312 yards and four touchdowns against the Bengals last week. He was five of seven for 68 yards and a touchdown prior to his injury in this game.
