| To put it nicely, Evgeni Nabokov was disappointing in this series. While you can't blame every goal on him, he was outplayed badly by Tomas Vokoun and the game-winning goal was a 60-foot slap shot by Brooks Orpik, not exactly someone who possesses a rifle for a shot. A month ago it looked like Nabokov would have a strong chance to return to the Islanders next season, but his play in the playoffs may have hastened his exit as the Islanders' starting goaltender.
