Things to know about each team:
Wichita State: Wichita State would have been good enough for an at-large bid, but the Shockers went ahead and won the MVC tourney anyway. With a 30-4 season including 18 wins by 20 or more points, their league dominance makes them an interesting case and difficult to project. But there won’t be a long list of teams signing up to play this dangerous mid-major.
Dayton: Dayton was a one-and-done in the A-10 tourney, but its regular season was impressive.. Archie Miller’s team has four seniors in starting roles and a long, athletic group that is well-disciplined and smart. Their offense ranks 48th nationally, and they would be a dangerous team if they slide to an eight-seed.
