The Northwestern women’s basketball team hosted, and crushed, Rutgers on Thursday night. The Wildcats controlled the game from the jump en route to a 60-38 victory and they are now 19-9 on the season.
That’s an embarrassingly low amount of points for Rutgers.
But it wasn’t the worst part of the night.
Northwestern guard Ashley Deary provided the lowlight of the game. While trying to bring the ball up the court, she took a knee to tie her shoe before reaching half court. When she looked over for some help from the official, she got hit with the ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
You can imagine what happened next.
Hey, at least her team got the victory. But she might be getting some friendly heat from her teammates after that gaffe.
