TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Michael Snaer scored 14 points, with 11 coming in the second half, as Florida State overcame a season-high 26 turnovers to defeat UNC Greensboro 75-60 on Sunday.

Snaer overcame a 0-for-6 first half to put him in double figures for the sixth straight game.

Xavier Gibson and freshman Terry Whisnant had 11 points apiece, and Bernard James had nine points, 10 rebounds and four blocks for the Seminoles (7-3).

Trevis Simpson had 19 points and Derrell Armstrong added 13 points for UNC Greensboro (2-8), which has lost five straight games.

Korey Van Dussen also had seven points and eight rebounds for the Spartans, who made just 5 of 23 (21.7 percent) of their 3-point attempts and had 21 turnovers. Florida State held UNC Greensboro to just 22 of 62 (35.5 percent) from the floor.

Whisnant had 10 first-half points as Florida State grabbed a 34-28 halftime lead despite the Seminoles' 14 turnovers in the first 20 minutes.

UNC Greensboro closed the gap to 40-38 on Armstrong's 3-pointer with 13:22 left in the game. But Snaer knocked down four jump shots - three from beyond the arc - in a span of three minutes as Florida State built a 58-45 lead with 7:51 left in the game.

Florida State made 15 of 24 (62.5 percent) of its shots in the second half.

The Seminoles are 6-0 at home this season. Florida State next plays host to Loyola Marymount on Dec. 18.
