Orioles' Cedric Mullins: Ready to return from DL

Mullins (hamstring) played in back-to-back games at extended spring training this week and could rejoin Double-A Bowie as soon as Friday, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

The club's No. 7 prospect was slowed during his rehab, but Mullins is eyeing a weekend return to the Baysox as he nears full strength. He'll look to get back to pre-injury form, when he was tearing up Eastern League pitching (.367/.406/.683) through 14 games.
