Raptors GM Masai Ujiri reiterated Thursday that Carroll (knee) remains without a timetable for a return, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Radio 1050 AM reports.

Though the Eastern Conference-leading Cavaliers made a small tweak to their roster by acquiring three-point shooting big man Channing Frye, the Raptors chose to stand pat at Thursday's trade deadline, with Ujiri indicating that Carroll's eventual return would qualify as a de facto in-season upgrade. It's still not clear when Carroll might be back in the fold, however, as he's yet to resume practicing with the team, though he is said to be progressing from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee January. Carroll had seen his numbers tail off prior to being shut down, but with the Raptors now willing to give him extended time off to fully heal up, he should notice improved production once he eventually returns.
