WATCH: Rory McIlroy nearly cost himself $11.5 million by just missing these two putts
McIlroy almost blew his shot at the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup on Sunday
The common golfer gets nervous over two-foot putts for beers, like I do when I'm playing with my buddies. So I cannot imagine what Rory McIlroy was going through on Sunday at the Tour Championship.
McIlroy had a seven-foot putt and a 17-foot putt on the first two playoff holes to win the Tour Championship ($1.5 million) and the FedEx Cup Playoff grand prize ($10 million).
The first one on the 18th hole was for eagle, and McIlroy thought he made it.
It doesn't drop!

We are going to another playoff hole, folks. #QuickHitshttps://t.co/QyjcwE1kZf
The second was also on No. 18, but it was a much more difficult putt that also narrowly missed.
No good.#QuickHitshttps://t.co/oahddzFIbV

McIlroy went on to win the tournament and FedEx Cup with an insanely clutch birdie bomb on the fourth playoff hole anyway, which is great because he would've had nightmares about not touching this tournament off.
