Vegas Derby odds favor Jose Bautista, Giancarlo Stanton

Jose Bautista

The 2012 Home Run Derby is just around the bend, and Vegas has some opinions on how the power party will unfold. Courtesy of Bovada.lv, the latest odds ...

Odds to win the 2012 Home Run Derby

Jose Bautista, Blue Jays: 7/2
Giancarlo Stanton, Marlins: 4/1
Prince Fielder, Tigers: 5/1
Robinson Cano, Yankees: 11/2
Carlos Beltran, Cardinals: 11/2
Matt Kemp, Dodgers: 6/1
Mark Trumbo, Angels: 6/1
Carlos Gonzalez, Rockies: 13/2

Keep in mind, of course, that these aren't so much predictions as they are numbers designed to prompt betting action. It's nonetheless interesting to see that Stanton, who seems to be the informal favorite, is a hair behind Bautista, who had a somewhat disappointing showing at last year's derby.

So who's your (literal or figurative) money on?
