Here's your chance to go inside Petco Park's exclusive Lexus Home Plate Club
It's time to take a photo tour of Petco Park's season-ticket holder area
SAN DIEGO -- First things first: This is going to be an incredibly biased write up. Petco Park is gorgeous, just as is the city of San Diego. If you have a problem with that, it's a you problem, not a me problem. Cool? Cool!
Tuesday before the All-Star Game, a colleague and I were given a tour of the Lexus Home Plate Club in Petco Park. It fits in well with the rest of the stadium, because it's excellent and there is an almost obscene amount -- and variety! -- of food. I'll do my best to give a good look for those who don't get to see it in person.

Upon entrance, there's a huge bar immediately the right.

On the left side, you'll find a private dining area with a view of the kitchen and a wine cellar where guests can leave their own bottles.

Did I mention the food? Yes, the foooooooood ...

These ice sculptures were actually all over the stadium, but they are a great touch and I wanted to include.

A glimpse of the main dining area.

See those openings in the wall? A closer look reveals ...

The indoor batting cages!
Let's go to our seats, shall we. It's this way.

Keep going.

Obviously there are more food and seating options because this place wants you pampered.

One last quick turn before getting to our seats provides the opportunity to sample some old-school ballpark fare.

And then, we're here.

Now enjoy the All-Star Game.
(A+ work, Petco Park.)
