The Astros have pushed Bud Norris's next start back to Tuesday due to back spasms, MLB.com reports. 

Lucas Harrell will take Norris's turn in the rotation on Sunday. Norris's back problems first turned up in Monday's start against Detroit, in which he allowed seven runs on nine hits over five innings.

Astros starter Bud Norris continued to complain of back tightness as of Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reports. 

Norris still hopes to make his next scheduled start Sunday at Pittsburgh, but said it is "definitely to be determined" whether or not he'll be able to go. 

The 28-year-old Norris has gone 4-4 thus far after nine starts with a 4.32 ERA and 33 strikeouts over 50 innings.

Norris (4-4) is slated to make his next start Sunday at Pittsburgh.

He was taken out of the game after being checked out by team trainers. Norrris, who was replaced on the mound by Paul Clemens, allowed seven runs on nine hits over five innings prior to leaving the game.

The right-hander is tentatively scheduled to make his next Sunday at Pittsburgh.

However, he was removed after back-to-back singles by the Angels opened up the ninth inning, but closer Jose Veras shut down the rally to move Norris to 4-3 on the year.

Norris threw just 84 pitches in his eight-plus innings of work, allowing one earned run on nine hits and one walk while striking out two. His ERA fell to 3.40 ERA on the year, and he's surrendered two earned runs or less in six of his eight starts. Norris will draw a matchup with the Tigers in Detroit Monday.
