Warriors-Cavs Game 3: Golden State sets two NBA Finals 3-point records
The Warriors were red hot to open Game 3, setting two records in the process
We all know the Warriors can get hot, but no NBA Finals team has ever been as hot as Golden State was in the first half of Game 3 against the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
The Warriors set an NBA Finals record with nine 3-pointers in the first quarter. The previous record was seven.

They were led by Klay Thompson, who came out blazing and made four from behind the arc in the first quarter. Here's the breakdown of the rest of the 3s:
- Thompson 4-5
- Kevin Durant 2-2
- Stephen Curry 2-4
- Andre Iguodala 1-2
Not to be outdone, the Warriors kept up their hot shooting and made three more 3-pointers to set another NBA Finals record with 12 in the first half.

It's only fitting that the Warriors set these records, as they continue to be one of the most impressive NBA offenses of all time. Golden State led 67-61 at halftime.
