Crawford compiled 21 points (8-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal over 30 minutes in Saturday's 123-101 loss to the Warriors.
Crawford continues to excel off the second unit, and he notably saw 30 minutes for the second straight game Saturday. The 28-year-old has averaged 20.5 points over the last two contests, and has hit double digits in the scoring column in 10 of the last 11 games. Crawford should see a healthy dose of playing time over the final two games of the season, making him a viable Hail Mary-option for those needing a last-minute boost in scoring and shooting percentage.
Crawford recorded 20 points (10-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three assists, one rebound and one steal across 30 minutes during a 122-106 loss to the Nuggets on Friday.
Crawford provided a nice boost for the team off the bench, as he attained his second 20-point outing since he was signed by the team. E'Twaun Moore (ankle) was forced to leave the game, so Crawford's role increased slightly as a result. The 30 minutes matched a season high for him. He has scored in double figures in all but two games with the team, so he is a nice pickup for owners looking for a low-end source of points. His role could increase slightly if Moore is forced to miss games.
Crawford scored 14 points (5-16 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding two assists, a rebound and a blocked shot over 30 minutes in Monday's 108-100 loss against the Jazz.
The former standout at Xavier rolled up 30 minutes of playing time, his highest total of the season, and he scored in double digits for the fifth straight outing and 10th time in 11 games in the Big Easy. He has also hit at least one 3-pointer in each of his 11 appearances in a New Orleans uniform.
Crawford scored 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt) while adding seven assists, five rebounds and a steal across 24 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 115-90 win over the Nuggets.
Tim Frazier moved into the starting lineup in light of DeMarcus Cousins' (ankle) absence, freeing up Crawford to serve as the primary ballhandler off the bench. He received his largest allotment of minutes in nearly two weeks, finishing tied for second on the team in scoring and assists. Crawford should still see his share of minutes when Cousins returns, but his usage could shrivel up as he reverts to sharing the reserve backcourt touches with Frazier andn E'Twaun Moore.
Crawford scored 22 points (9-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt) while adding two rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 123-109 win over the Timberwolves.
He's been taking full advantage of his second (and last?) chance at carving out an NBA career, averaging 14.3 points, 2.7 assists, 2.7 three-pointers and 2.3 boards in seven games with the Pelicans. Crawford is still only 28, so he may yet have a future in the league as a second unit sparkplug.
