Teletovic scored 19 points (6-10 FG. 5-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT) while adding two rebounds and an assist in 17 minutes off the bench during Saturday's 116-100 win over the Pacers.
He's been hot lately from beyond the arc, hitting 10 of 25 three-point attempts over the last five games, but Teletovic's role off the bench is too inconsistent to allow him to put up useful fantasy numbers on a regular basis. He'll have the occasional big game, as he did Saturday, but even if you need three-point production, he's best left on the waiver wire in most formats.
Teletovic supplied 19 points (6-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 25 minutes during a 137-112 win over the Suns on Saturday.
Teletovic's 19 points marked his highest total since Dec. 10, when he went off for 25 points against the Wizards. His scoring outbursts come every once in awhile, and Saturday's blowout victory over the Suns marked a good opportunity for Teletovic to fill it up across an abnormally high 25 minutes of action. He will have more games like this, but it's tough to tell when they will occur, as he had scored a combined total of 11 points over his previous three games.
Teletovic will return to the bench for Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs, Jabari Young of the San Antonio News-Express reports.
Teletovic was in the starting lineup for the Bucks' most recent game, as Giannis Antetokounmpo was sitting out with an illness. However, Antetokounmpo is making his return to the court Tuesday and will rejoin the top unit, pushing Teletovic to the bench. Teletovic recorded just five points and four rebounds over 31 minutes Sunday, but should see a pretty significant drop in minutes, which takes away most of his fantasy value. Teletovic is nothing more than a three-point specialist in most situations.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is dealing with an illness and has been ruled out for Sunday, which gives Teletovic an opportunity to jump into the starting five. While Jabari Parker is slated to pick up the slack offensively, Teletovic could also see an uptick in his usage on that side of the floor, although his value still relies for the most part in his three-point shooting. He's averaged 18.0 minutes per game so far this season, but look for a significant bump on Sunday.
Teletovic (concussion) returned to the court and registered eight points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 19 minutes during a 116-99 loss to Minnesota on Friday.
Teletovic got his normal workload in his return to the court following a two-game absence. He is capable of the occasional offensive outburst, but won't provide much of anything consistently besides three-pointers. He is averaging 7.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 three-pointers per game so far this season.
