Don't ever claim that world-class soccer players couldn't make long NFL field goals (OK, that's a stupid premise, because I don't know anybody who would claim that).
Either way, watch the strength and accuracy Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos puts into this 53-yard field goal attempt before the Steelers-Eagles preseason game.
The result perhaps is not surprising, but that doesn't make the attempt any less awesome.
It was plenty long enough and straight down the middle. And in case, Ramos -- who was in Philadelphia for a friendly against Celtic -- hasn't heard, there's actually pretty good money in kicking these days (not that Ramos necessarily needs thsy money).
