A.J. Green suffers hamstring injury, Bengals reportedly fear he's out for season
The Bengals' best player has been ruled out for the rest of the game
Bengals Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a hamstring injury minutes into Sunday's game against the Bills and had to be taken off the field to the locker room on a cart.
The Bengals ruled Green out for the game, which made sense when you heard reports like this from the stadium:
AJ Green can barely put any pressure on the leg.

In an already great career, Green was having his best season and it wasn't close. If this is serious, truly unfortunate.

The Bengals lost to the Bills 16-12 to fall to 3-6-1 on the year, and now the fear, at least according to Bengals.com writer Geoff Hobson, is that Green's season could be over, though the team will know more after an MRI:
A.J. Says he'll be back at some point but not sure about next week

Bengals fear Green out for year with possible hamstring tear. But MRI pending

Green entered Sunday's game with 66 receptions for 964 yards and four touchdowns. And according to Football Outsiders' metrics, he was the NFL's No. 2 wide receiver behind only Julio Jones. Put another way: If he's sidelined for any length of time, that's a huge blow to an offense in desperate need of playmakers.
