Fortune favors the bold and the Seattle Seahawks are not afraid to go for gusto. They'll use trickeration where necessary and it often pays off nicely, as it did on Sunday when Russell Wilson was on the receiving end of a touchdown pass from Doug Baldwin in the third quarter against Philadelphia.

With Seattle up 16-7 and marching towards the end zone, Darrell Bevell dialed up what looked like an end-around pitch to Baldwin.

The Eagles overpursued a bit, and it allowed Wilson to leak out to the left side, where Baldwin found him wide open.

The only thing in question was completing the catch as Wilson went diving into the end zone. Seriously: there are probably some Cowboys fans out there who wonder why Dez Bryant can't get that call.

It wasn't just a huge play in the game, it was also historical, as Wilson became the first Seattle Seahawks quarterback in franchise history to catch a touchdown pass.

The play was actually a familiar one for Russell, who pulled off something similar while playing his final college season at Wisconsin.

Wilson now has three catches in his career for 31 yards and a score, while Baldwin has one passing attempt for 15 yards and a touchdown. Soak up that quarterback rating, Doug.

For Seattle, it's just another example of their embarrassment of riches.

Lots of teams would kill to have a receiver as good as Wilson, including the Seahawks opponent on Sunday.

And there are probably one or two teams out there who would love to have someone who can throw the ball like Baldwin.
