After a devastating loss to the Chiefs on Sunday, the Falcons' lead in the NFC South has completely disappeared. The Buccaneers now own the same record as the Falcons, though the Falcons are still currently slotted in as the division leaders. So, the remaining four weeks of the season are going to be kind of important for Atlanta.

Unfortunately for the Falcons, their best player is going to be playing through some pain in those four games. On Monday, Falcons coach Dan Quinn said that Julio Jones suffered a turf-toe injury Sunday. But it doesn't seem like Jones will miss any time.

"Hopefully, he's on a shorter-term [timetable],'' Quinn said, per ESPN.com. "We'll get a chance to see what he looks like Wednesday."

On the season, Jones has caught 72 passes for 1,253 yards, and five touchdowns. He leads the team in all three categories and he's the only player in the NFL averaging at least 100 receiving yards per game (104.4, to be exact). He's a huge reason why the Falcons lead the league in points scored with 32.2 per game.

I mean, LOOK AT THIS ROUTE:

His stat line is even more impressive when you consider Jones has dealt with multiple injuries this year, though he's yet to miss a game.

"It's football,'' Jones said Sunday, per ESPN.com. "You're going to get banged up. You're going to get little nagging injuries here and there from the game. I'm OK. I'll be good to go.''

Next up for the Falcons? The Rams, 49ers, Panthers, and Saints. They're currently ahead of the Buccaneers because they have a better record within the division (3-1 compared to 2-1), which places more importance on those games against the Panthers and Saints. Still, all four of those teams have losing records, so the Falcons should like their chances to earn a postseason berth.
