Training camps are in full swing around the NFL and that can only mean one thing: Players, in pads for the first time since the beginning of the year, are going to fight. That reality brings us to South Florida, where defensive end Chris McCain and first-round pick Laremy Tunsil win a "First Dolphins players to throw down at 2016 training camp" certificate.

As far as fights go, this is just slightly better than Capt. Kirk "battling" the unitard-wearing lizard man. Still, it's a throwdown of sorts, and it involves Tunsil, a top-five pick who fell to 13th after a video showing him smoking marijuana through a gas mask appeared on his Twitter feed minutes before the start of the draft.

As for the fight, they happen frequently in training camp, and often involve younger players making the transition from college to the pros. Sometimes, the skirmishes are even encouraged by coaches who want to see how a player might react. That said, first-year Dolphins coach Adam Gase take issue with Tunsil's scuffle for a very good reason.

"I guess it's never really bothered me," Gase said, via FoxSports.com. "If somebody gets hurt ... it's not a problem until it's a problem."

"There's a lot of different activities going on throughout practice and you'd rather it not happen, but it does. It's hot here, they're in pads, it's competitive. It happens once in a while. You'd like guys not to throw punches, though."

Tunsil, who was a standout left tackle at Ole Miss, is currently working at left guard.
