So maybe we all need to start taking Kirk Cousins seriously. The man who was originally drafted to be Robert Griffin III's backup looks very much like a legit NFL starter. Other than diehard Washington fans (and Mike Shanahan), nobody was saying that a few weeks ago.

But in Week 7 against the Buccaneers, Cousins completed 83 percent of his throws with 3 touchdowns, no interceptions and a 124.7 passer rating in the team's improbable 31-30 win.

After the game, Cousins was ... pumped:

Cousins was average in last week's loss to the Patriots, but he demolished the Saints' defense on Sunday to the tune of 325 yards on 20 of 25 passing, with a career-high four touchdowns. The Redskins won easily, 47-14.

To celebrate on the way to the locker room, Chris Baker channeled his inner Cousins.

Fun fact: Cousins, who has had a nice run of late, is the Saints' new owner:

Meanwhile, the Redskins are 4-5, good for second place in the NFC East. Hip hip ...
