The Steelers have done this with Ben Roethlisberger before. The quarterback, making his way back from injury, gets in a series of limited practices, and is listed as questionable for that weekend's game, with the team saying he's a game-time decision. And then he plays.

This time, the Baltimore Ravens -- Pittsburgh's opponent in Week 9 -- are prepared for that eventuality. They already expect Roethlisberger to play.

Whether or not the Ravens fall for tomfoolery is up for debate (one might want to ask the Patriots about that; remember the trick plays), but the Steelers do still seem to be carrying on as if Big Ben is a true game-time decision.

If he can't make the start, Landry Jones will once again take the snaps. Jones has made three career starts, going 1-2, although the lone win came during a game Jones left due to injury in the first quarter to be relieved by Roethlisberger.
