Seahawks vs. Patriots highlights, score: Historic streak ends on Brady's interception
Tom Brady threw up an arm punt that was intercepted by DeShawn Shead
The streak is over. And Tom Brady is human after all.
Midway through the second quarter of the Seahawks-Patriots game on Sunday night, Brady launched a throw that is best described as an "arm punt." That's how poorly Brady threw the ball, which was picked off by DeShawn Shead.

But it's intercepted!@dshead24 comes down with the pick. #SEAvsNEhttps://t.co/ItefmDP5Vu
The Seahawks didn't score off the turnover, but that's not what's important about it. What's important is that the Patriots' historic streak is over. Earlier in the game, the Patriots set an NFL record for the most passes without an interception.

It wasn't just Brady who contributed. Jimmy Garoppolo threw 60 passes without an interception. Jacoby Brissett threw 55 without a pick. And Brady entered the game with 134 interception-less passes. His interception occurred on his 10th throw of the game.
So, the streak officially ended on the Patriots' 259th pass of the season. Long may it reign.
