WATCH: Dak Prescott loves throwing touchdown passes to Dez Bryant
Cowboys rookie Dak Prescott looks like a keeper behind Tony Romo
Remember when Jerry Jones bemoaned the fact that he didn't overpay to trade up and draft Paxton Lynch, who eventually ended up in Denver? The Cowboys had to "settle" for Dak Prescott in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He's been nothing short of a godsend through training camp and two preseason games.
After starting against the Rams in the first preseason game (10 of 12, 139 yards, 2 touchdowns), Prescott picked up where he left off against the Dolphins on Friday night. Taking over for Romo on Dallas' third possession, Prescott led the offense on a 7-play, 95-yard drive that ended in a 28-yard pitch and catch to Dez Bryant.

He finds @DezBryant for another TD! 🙌 #MIAvsDAL#ThrowUpTheXhttps://t.co/o6aNRKpmuK
Prescott was 4 for 4 for 76 yards on the drive, which has everything to do with Jones suddenly having no concerns about the backup quarterback situation.
