Redskins wide receiver Rashad Ross had just eight receptions last regular season, but hauled in four passes for 58 yards through the first two quarters of Friday's night's preseason game against the Jets.

Ross hauled in a 3-yard pass from Colt McCoy midway through the second quarter, and following a Redskins interception on the next series, McCoy found Ross again, this time for a 39-yard hookup that resulted in another score.

In case you're wondering, that was rookie cornerback Juston Burris getting burned on the play.

Both McCoy (13 of 16, 159 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT) and Ross were sharp over the first 30 minutes, and helped the Redskins to a 14-2 halftime lead.
