WR coach predicts big things Sunday for Tony Carter
by Marty Gitlin |

Broncos reserve cornerback Tony Carter could play a positive role in the Super Bowl on Sunday, according to wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert.

"He, in the back of my mind, is the guy that no one is talking about that could step up and make a play," Tolbert said.

Tolbert said he likes what he has seen of Carter, who played in more than half the snaps in the AFC title game win against New England.

"I see him in practice every day," Tolbert added. "I see how he is fast, he's quick, he has good change of direction. He makes plays in practice a lot, so he could be a guy who could step up."
