| Skelton leads Cardinals to another win : Cardinals QB John Skelton for almost 275 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Skelton, who once again started in place of the injured Kevin Kolb, was able to hook up with Todd Heap on a 13-yard scoring strike in the third quarter. He completed 22 of his 40 pass attempts for 271 yards in the 23-20 victory, but was picked off once on the afternoon. Skelton also racked up 19 yards on the ground and completed a pass to eight different receivers in the contest. He finished with a QB rating of 74.1. (Updated 01/01/2012) |

| Fantasy Analysis |
| Skelton had his knee drained prior to the start of the contest and reportadly fainted after standing up to quickly. However, he was able to snap out of it in time to play on Sunday and lead the Cardinals to their eight win of the year. While Skelton has played well in Kolb's absence this season, Arizona seems to be committed to giving Kolb the starting gig next season. Even if Skelton got a chance to start, he would merely be considered a low-end No. 2 Fantasy QB heading into 2012. (Updated 01/01/2012). |
