On the active roster for just the second time this season, wide receiver
That's the question on the mind of every Fantasy owner heading into Week 15 against the Texans. Coach Chuck Pagano promised Rogers an opportunity to contribute when he activated him from the practice squad prior to Week 13, but few thought he'd contribute to that extent. True, the Texans rank second against the pass, allowing 183.6 yards per game, but that didn't stop wide receiver T.Y. Hilton from catching seven passes for 121 yards and three touchdowns when the Colts last faced them in Week 9.
Hilton hasn't played as big of a role in the passing game in recent weeks, catching two passes for 7 yards at Cincinnati, but does that mean Rogers is poised to overtake him? It's a huge gamble at this point in the Fantasy Football season, particularly against the team that has allowed the fifth-fewest Fantasy points to wide receivers. None of Jamey Eisenberg, Dave Richard or Nathan Zegura are willing to take it, ranking Rogers outside their top 30 wide receivers, even behind Hilton, and I'm inclined to agree with him.
Rogers, who was promoted from the practice squad in mid-November, saw his first game action in Week 13. He was targeted a team-high nine times in Sunday's loss.
Rogers and the Colts face the Texans in Week 15.
