Barcelona vs. Juventus UCL aggregate score: Messi, Neymar, Suarez eliminated
Barca needed three goals and didn't even get one
Juventus is through to the Champions League semifinals after knocking out Barcelona on Wednesday in the quarterfinals 3-0 on aggregate. After last week's 3-0 win at home, Juve went on the road and got a 0-0 draw in the second leg at the Camp Nou to move on rather easily.
Barca had its chances but most of the shots went wide, as Juve made defense a priority with the big advantage. Needing three goals, Barca couldn't come up with one as it looked for another miracle in the knockout stages. In the round of 16, Barca came back from 4-0 down to eliminated PSG 6-5 on aggregate.
Juventus had loads of space all night long down the wing and was sloppy in attack as it looked to kill off the match. Focusing on frustrating Barca in the final third, Juve's defensive shape was superb as it roughed up the home attack all night long in what was a frustrating 90 minutes.
With the result, Juve is back in the Champions League semis after making it in 2015 where it lost in the final to Barca. For the hosts, that is two straight exits in the quarterfinals.
