Lionel Messi wants to finish where his legacy started. On Monday, after winning the Ballon d'Or, Messi revealed that he wants to finish his career at home. But is that in Spain for Barcelona or back in Argentina?
"My idea is to finish my career in my home and my home is Barca. I want to end my career where I started," Messi said, per ESPNFC.
With all the rumors over the years about a potential move to Chelsea, PSG, Manchester City and others clubs, we now have Messi again saying where he wants to finish up. If he were ever to leave the club, Newell's Old Boys in Argentina, his boyhood club, looked like the probable destination. But now it appears for good that Messi is Barca for life.
