This hasn't been a great week for Lyon. While it managed to win against Besiktas on Thursday in Europa League, it saw that matched delayed because of fan violence. Fans were going after each other, and it was a hectic scene.

On Sunday, something similar happened, but the target was unexpected. Fans of French club Bastia tried to attack the Lyon players before their match, which ended up being postponed.

Take a look:

Those are home fans at Stade Armand Cesari attacking players. The match actually started but further incidents resulted in it being called at the half.

It appears that it all started after Bastia fans threw some objects at Lyon players, who decided to throw them back. No injuries were reported, but it is still a scary scene that nobody wants to see.
