What to Know

The Oregon State Beavers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they must head out on the road. Oregon State and the #3 Arizona Wildcats will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 7:30 p.m. ET Thursday at McKale Memorial Center. The Beavers have some work to do to even out the 1-10 series between these two since January of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.

Oregon State has to be hurting after a devastating 90-64 defeat at the hands of the Colorado Buffaloes on Tuesday. Guard Jarod Lucas wasn't much of a difference maker for Oregon State; Lucas played for 29 minutes but put up just seven points on 2-for-12 shooting.

Meanwhile, everything went Arizona's way against the Washington Huskies on Saturday as they made off with a 92-68 win. It was another big night for Arizona's guard Bennedict Mathurin, who had 25 points along with five rebounds.

The Beavers are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Those sticking with them against the spread have guts, to put it politely, as the team has let down bettors in their past seven games.

Oregon State is now 3-20 while the Wildcats sit at 22-2.
