What to Know

The TCU Horned Frogs and the #1 Baylor Bears are set to square off in a Big 12 matchup at 5 p.m. ET Jan. 8 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs are out to keep their six-game home win streak alive.

TCU took their contest at home two weeks ago with ease, bagging a 90-55 win over the Grambling Tigers. TCU got double-digit scores from four players: forward Chuck O'Bannon Jr. (19), forward Emanuel Miller (18), guard Damion Baugh (13), and forward JaKobe Coles (12).

Meanwhile, the Bears beat the Oklahoma Sooners 84-74 on Tuesday. Among those leading the charge for Baylor was guard James Akinjo, who had 27 points and five assists.

TCU have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 10 point spread they are up against. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread, however, as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.

Their wins bumped TCU to 10-1 and Baylor to 14-0. Two weeks ago the Horned Frogs relied heavily on Emanuel Miller, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. It will be up to Baylor's defense to limit his damage Saturday.
