The Wyoming Cowboys and the Fresno State Bulldogs will face off in a Mountain West clash at 4 p.m. ET March 5 at Arena-Auditorium. Given that these two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The Cowboys came up short against the UNLV Rebels on Wednesday, falling 64-57. Guard Hunter Maldonado put forth a good effort for the losing side as he posted a double-double on 22 points and ten boards in addition to seven dimes.

Meanwhile, Fresno State was just a bucket short of a win on Thursday and fell 65-64 to the San Diego State Aztecs. Guard Isaiah Hill wasn't much of a difference maker for the Bulldogs; Hill picked up four fouls and turned the ball over four times en route to a 1-for-10, 4-point finish.

Wyoming is the favorite in this one, with an expected 4.5-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take the Cowboys against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

Wyoming came out on top in a nail-biter against Fresno State in the teams' previous meeting in February, sneaking past 61-59. Will Wyoming repeat their success, or does Fresno State have a better game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
