Mets' Josh Walker: Moved to 60-day IL

Walker (oblique) was transferred Thursday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Walker was diagnosed Monday with a right oblique strain, and the injury is severe enough to end his season. The 28-year-old lefty allowed 11 runs (nine earned) in 10 innings of relief with the Mets in 2023.
