Ryan Webb: Released by Rays

Webb cleared waivers and was released by the Rays on Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin reports.

He posted a 5.19 ERA in 17.1 innings out of the Rays' bullpen prior to being DFA'd in late June. Considering he cleared waivers, Webb will be seeking a minor league deal with a team looking for organizational bullpen depth.
