  • Dont'e Thornton Jr. LV WR
Raiders' Dont'e Thornton: Not targeted against Philadelphia
    4h ago

Thornton failed to record a single target in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Eagles.

Thornton played just eight of the Raiders' 42 offensive snaps, behind fellow wide receivers Tre Tucker (39), Jack Bech (34) and Tyler Lockett (32). The rookie wideout has had an underwhelming start to his career, recording just eight receptions on 25 targets for 123 yards in 12 appearances. Thornton should continue to develop, but it appears the Raiders are unlikely to expand his role in the final stretch of the season. The Tennessee product remains far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Texans.

  • Tre Tucker LV WR
Raiders' Tre Tucker: Held catchless in blowout loss
    4h ago

Tucker failed to secure any of his three targets in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Eagles.

Tucker was held without a catch for the first time all season, despite playing 93 percent of the Raiders' offensive snaps, the most of any Las Vegas pass catcher. The 24-year-old wideout has been quiet in recent weeks, failing to score a touchdown or record at least 30 receiving yards since Week 11. Tucker's lack of significant production is directly tied to the Raiders' offensive struggles as a whole, which has limited the upside of most Las Vegas skill position players with the exception of tight end Brock Bowers. The Cincinnati product is best left out of fantasy lineups down the stretch, and he'll have a tough test in Week 16 when the Raiders visit the Texans and their formidable defense.

  • KeAndre Lambert-Smith LAC WR
Chargers' KeAndre Lambert-Smith: Scores first career touchdown
    4h ago

Lambert-Smith caught his lone target for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Chiefs.

Lambert-Smith's trip to the end zone accounted for the only touchdown scored by the Chargers in the contest and the first touchdown of his career. With teammate Quentin Johnston (groin) inactive, the rookie wideout played 21 of the Chargers' 66 offensive snaps, his largest snap share of the season. Lambert-Smith made the most of his limited playing time by finding the end zone, but the Auburn product should not be trusted for fantasy purposes, even in a plus matchup against the Cowboys in Week 16.

Chiefs' Tyquan Thornton: In concussion protocol after loss
    4h ago

Thornton (concussion) caught two of three targets for 47 yards before exiting the contest early in the fourth quarter due to a helmet-to-helmet hit during Sunday's 16-13 loss to the Chargers.

Thornton played 31 of the Chiefs' 61 offensive snaps in the contest, behind Rashee Rice (52), Xavier Worthy (41) and Juju Smith-Schuster (32). With Hollywood Brown (personal) inactive, the 25-year-old Thornton saw a 51 percent snap share, his largest since Week 3. His increased role Sunday led to a bump in production, but fantasy managers should monitor his status in the concussion protocol leading up to the Kansas City's Week 16 matchup against the Titans. Even if he clears the protocol, the Baylor product would remain difficult to trust for significant fantasy production against Tennessee, especially with quarterback Patrick Mahomes (knee) done for the season.

  • Devontez Walker BAL WR
Ravens' Devontez Walker: Not targeted in win
    5h ago

Walker failed to record a single target in Sunday's 24-0 win over the Bengals.

Walker was a complete non-factor Sunday despite playing a season-high 61 percent snap share. The second-year wideout played 25 of the Ravens' 41 offensive snaps in the contest, the second most snaps among wide receivers behind only Zay Flowers (32). The spike in Walker's playing time came on a day when teammate Rashod Bateman (ankle) was inactive. Even so, the North Carolina product was unable to earn any opportunities against Cincinnati. Walker is not a consideration for fantasy purposes as the Ravens host the Patriots in Week 16.

  • John FitzPatrick GB TE
Packers' John FitzPatrick: Three catches against Denver
    6h ago

FitzPatrick caught three of four targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 34-26 loss to the Broncos.

FitzPatrick finished Week 15 with yet another underwhelming performance despite leading all Packers tight ends in offensive snaps and posting season highs in targets, catches and yards. Teammate Luke Musgrave, however, was the better fantasy option, recording four receptions on six targets for 52 yards. Based on his limited production, FitzPatrick should remain far off the fantasy radar as the Packers get set to visit the Bears in Week 16.

Angels' Drew Pomeranz: Finds work in Anaheim
    10h ago

Pomeranz signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Angels on Tuesday, Ari Alexander of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pomeranz was dominant during his time with the Cubs this past season -- his first MLB campaign since 2021 -- finishing the year with a 2.17 ERA and 1.07 WHIP alongside a 57:15 K:BB over 49.2 regular-season frames. By joining the Angels, the 37-year-old southpaw instantly becomes one of the most reliable arms in a bullpen that finished 2025 with an AL-worst 4.86 ERA, and he figures to receive a fair share of save opportunities alongside Ben Joyce (shoulder) and Robert Stephenson (elbow).

Angels' Jordan Romano: Lands with Halos
    10h ago

Romano (finger) signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the Angels on Tuesday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Once viewed as a dominant closer, Romano has struggled mightily over the past two seasons, posting a 7.83 ERA and 1.46 WHIP across 56.1 regular-season innings between the Blue Jays and Phillies. The Angels will now take a chance on the 32-year-old righty with hopes that he can return to his previous form, but he'll likely be limited to middle-relief work until he can display some consistency on the mound.

Rangers' Chris Martin: Back with Rangers
    13h ago

Martin (undisclosed) signed a one-year contract with the Rangers on Tuesday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Martin was a key part of the Rangers' bullpen this past season, as he finished the year with a 2.98 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 42.1 innings while adding two saves and 13 holds. Now committed to another year in Arlington, the 39-year-old righty will likely continue to work in a setup role ahead of closer Robert Garcia.

  • Aaron Schunk COL SS
Braves' Aaron Schunk: Gets NRI deal from Atlanta
    13h ago

Schunk signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Tuesday, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Schunk went just 6-for-32 (.188) in the big leagues in 2025, but he slashed .291/.352/.477 over 363 plate appearances with the Rockies' Triple-A affiliate. His strong minor-league performance will grant him an opportunity to carve out a role for himself in Atlanta, though he's likely to spend the majority of 2026 in Triple-A again.

  • Mike Trout LAA CF
Angels' Mike Trout: Playing some center field possible
    14h ago

Angels general manager Perry Minasian said recently that he's not ruling out Trout playing some center field in 2026, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Trout was moved to right field at the beginning of the 2025 season, but he was a full-time designated hitter from late April on after suffering a bone bruise to his surgically repaired left knee. The three-time MVP has had a normal offseason and hopes to play the outfield in 2026, and Minasian said Trout is an option at all three outfield spots as well as DH. Trout's strikeout rate ballooned to 32 percent in 2025, but he made a late-season mechanical tweak and homered five times in his last seven games.

Rays' Tristan Peters: Cut from 40-man roster
    15h ago

The Rays designated Peters for assignment Tuesday.

The transaction clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Steven Matz, whose signing was made official Tuesday. Peters went 0-for-12 with seven strikeouts during his brief time with the Rays in 2025 and slashed .266/.355/.429 at Triple-A Durham. He stands a good chance of passing through waivers unclaimed.

Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Double-doubles in win
    7h ago

Towns finished Tuesday's 124-113 victory over San Antonio with 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and two steals over 30 minutes.

Towns recorded his 19th double-double of the season, although he appeared to suffer an injury during the game. While he was able to close the game, he remained on the bench until late in the fourth quarter, working on what seemed to be a calf issue. While there has been no official word from the team, fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on the injury report, especially seeing as though Towns has been dealing with calf issues for the past few weeks.

  • Jordan Clarkson NY PG
Knicks' Jordan Clarkson: Pops for 15 points
    7h ago

Clarkson amassed 15 points (6-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and one steal in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 victory over the Spurs.

Clarkson scored at least 15 points for just the sixth time this season, helping the Knicks to an impressive victory in the NBA Cup. Despite a proven ability to score off the bench, Clarkson has been mostly disappointing this season, averaging just 9.6 points and 1.1 three-pointers in 19.8 minutes per game. At best, he should be viewed as a streaming option in fantasy leagues for anyone desperate for points.

  • Tyler Kolek NY PG
    Knicks' Tyler Kolek: Season-best performance
    7h ago

Kolek notched 14 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and five assists over 20 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 win over San Antonio.

Kolek scored a season-high 14 points, playing a key role down the stretch as the Knicks outlasted the Spurs to win the NBA Cup. Although this was an encouraging performance, it is likely an outlier when compared to the rest of the season. Prior to Tuesday, Kolek had played no more than 17 minutes in all 21 appearances thus far this season. We would need to see sustained production before adding him outside of very deep fantasy leagues.

  • Julian Champagnie SA SF
Spurs' Julian Champagnie: Quiet in loss Tuesday
    7h ago

Champagnie had three points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 loss to the Knicks.

Champagnie was limited to just three points, continuing what has become a concerning trend. As San Antonio starts to get healthy players back on the court, Champagnie is likely to see his nightly role reduce, at least from a productivity standpoint. While he should see close to 25 minutes per game, his scoring could be sporadic moving forward, making him more of a streaming option in standard leagues.

  • Keldon Johnson SA SF
Spurs' Keldon Johnson: Non-factor again Tuesday
    7h ago

Johnson recorded three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and four rebounds in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 loss to New York.

Johnson scored just three points for a second straight game, a worrying sign for anyone still hanging onto him in standard leagues. With Victor Wembanyama continuing to work his way back from a calf injury, the path to minutes for Johnson is far from clear. Given his overall limitations, managers are well within their rights to go hunting for a replacement.

  • Dylan Harper SA PG
Spurs' Dylan Harper: Drops team-high 21 points in loss
    7h ago

Harper registered 21 points (7-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and seven rebounds in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 124-113 loss to New York.

Harper led the Spurs with 21 points, although his peripheral numbers were underwhelming, to say the least. While the offensive output was certainly encouraging, the playing time was perhaps a bigger takeaway. The 28 minutes were the most he has played since returning from injury and a promising sign that his role could indeed be significant, despite the healthy roster. He is worth grabbing in standard leagues where available, just in case he can maintain standard league production.

  • Connor Murphy CHI D
Blackhawks' Connor Murphy: Cold on offense
    4h ago

Murphy has gone 19 games without a point after coming up scoreless in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

For the season, Murphy has three helpers, 28 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 29 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-5 rating in 33 appearances. He's been a regular in the lineup as a third-pairing option. The Blackhawks went with seven blueliners early in the year but have switched to the traditional six defensemen recently, which could put Murphy at risk of occasionally being a scratch going forward. While his non-scoring production is steady, fantasy managers can find better options on the waiver wire in most formats.

  • Dominic Toninato CHI C
Blackhawks' Dominic Toninato: Registers first assist
    4h ago

Toninato notched an assist, three hits and two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Toninato, a fifth-round pick of Toronto in 2012, was able to get on the scoresheet with a helper on Wyatt Kaiser's first-period tally. This was Toninato's first point in two games at the NHL level this year. He'll have a chance to see fourth-line usage until the Blackhawks get either Nick Foligno (hand) or Connor Bedard (upper body) back in the lineup.

Blackhawks' Ilya Mikheyev: Draws shorthanded helper
    4h ago

Mikheyev notched a shorthanded assist and four shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Mikheyev snapped a month-long point drought, which saw him go scoreless with a minus-9 rating and 25 shots on net over 14 contests. The Blackhawks' offense will struggle without Connor Bedard (upper body) for the next little bit, but getting the depth players like Mikheyev to find a groove could help. Mikheyev has eight points, 56 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 31 appearances in a middle-six role.

  • Calle Jarnkrok TOR C
Maple Leafs' Calle Jarnkrok: Losing favor in December
    4h ago

Jarnkrok was scratched for the fourth time in seven games in December when he sat out Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Jarnkrok's three-game goal streak to begin the year is distant memory now -- he's scored just once since then. The 34-year-old forward has four goals, 21 shots on net, 14 hits and a minus-8 rating over 21 appearances. Fantasy managers won't need to roster him as long as he's stuck in a part-time role, and likely beyond that as well, as he probably won't see more than fourth-line usage.

  • Jake McCabe TOR D
Maple Leafs' Jake McCabe: Assists in three straight games
    4h ago

McCabe logged an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.

McCabe helped out on Dakota Joshua's game-winning goal with 3:01 left in the third period. This was McCabe's third straight game with a helper, and he has four helpers over seven outings in December. For the season, the defenseman is at 14 points, 23 shots on net, 23 PIM, 47 hits, 82 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 32 appearances. As long as he's chipping in offense semi-regularly, McCabe makes for a decent depth defenseman in fantasy.

  • Shane Wright SEA C
Kraken's Shane Wright: Ends slump with goal
    4h ago

Wright scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Avalanche.

Wright entered Tuesday with no points in his last five outings, and he hadn't scored since Nov. 20 in Chicago. The 21-year-old was able to change that, tying this contest at 1-1 early in the second period on a play at the net front. The center has six goals, 13 points, 47 shots on net, 26 hits, 23 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 31 appearances. Wright's in a third-line role on a low-scoring team and seems to be putting more focus on defense this year, which has come at the expense of his offense.
