Andrus Peat PIT G
Steelers' Andrus Peat: Won't play Week 15
5m agoPeat (concussion) has been ruled out to face Miami on Monday Night Football.
Peat suffered a concussion last Sunday against the Ravens and appears to still be in concussion protocol, as he wasn't able to practice in any capacity this week. Dylan Cook will likely start at left tackle in Peat's stead against the Dolphins.
-
Aaron Brewer MIA C
Dolphins' Aaron Brewer: Set to play Monday
10m agoBrewer (ankle) does not have an injury designation for Monday's tilt against Pittsburgh, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
This confirms Brewer's proclamation earlier in the day that he's good to go for Monday's matchup after logging an FP/LP/FP practice progression this week. Brewer should take on his usual role as the Dolphins' starting center.
-
James Pierre PIT CB
Steelers' James Pierre: Will sit out Week 15
15m agoPierre (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Dolphins.
Pierre sat out all three of Pittsburgh's practices this week due to a calf injury. As such, he's going to miss his first game of the season. Asante Samuel will likely start at cornerback in Pierre's stead against Miami.
-
Derrick Harmon PIT DT
Steelers' Derrick Harmon: Deemed questionable for Monday
18m agoHarmon (knee) is officially questionable to play against the Dolphins on Monday.
Harmon missed Pittsburgh's first two practices this week due to a lingering knee injury, but he was able to log a limited session Saturday to give himself at least a chance to play Monday. If he does take the field, it will end a streak of two straight absences. Harmon has typically logged around a 50 percent defensive snap share when he's suited up this season.
-
Malik Harrison PIT LB
Steelers' Malik Harrison: Clears concussion protocol
21m agoHarrison (concussion) does not carry an injury designation for Monday's Week 15 game against Miami.
Harrison suffered a concussion last Sunday against Baltimore, but he was able to log an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week. His lack of an injury tag on Pittsburgh's final injury report indicates that the veteran linebacker has cleared concussion protocol. Harrison is thus set to take the field against the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.
-
Keeanu Benton PIT DT
Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Set to suit up Week 15
26m agoBenton (ankle) has been cleared of an injury designation for Monday's tilt against the Dolphins.
Benton was limited in practice Friday due to an ankle issue, but he was able to return to full participation Saturday. That clears the way for him to take the field against Miami on Monday Night Football. Benton has yet to miss a regular-season game in his three-year NFL career.

Nick Mears MIL RP
Royals' Nick Mears: Sent to Royals
4h agoThe Brewers traded Mears to the Royals on Saturday alongside Isaac Collins in exchange for Angel Zerpa, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Mears enjoyed the best campaign of his career with Milwaukee in 2025, finishing the regular season with a 3.49 ERA and 0.97 WHIP over 56.2 innings while also notching his first career save. The 29-year-old righty is unlikely to beat out Carlos Estevez and Lucas Erceg in the race for high-leverage opportunities, but Mears will inject some depth into Kansas City's middle-relief unit.
-
Isaac Collins MIL LF
Royals' Isaac Collins: Traded to Kansas City
4h agoThe Brewers traded Collins to the Royals on Saturday alongside Nick Mears in exchange for Angel Zerpa, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Collins entered the 2025 season as a relatively unknown player but quickly proved himself as a productive bat, slashing .263/.368/.411 with 54 RBI, 56 runs scored and 16 stolen bases over 441 regular-season plate appearances. His performance allowed him to take fourth place in NL Rookie of the Year voting. With Garrett Mitchell (shoulder) expected to return in 2026 and Akil Baddoo signing with the Brewers on Thursday, Milwaukee's outfield room was beginning to become crowded, so the team will now send Collins to Kansas City, where the 28-year-old outfielder should have a much easier path to regular playing time.

Angel Zerpa KC RP
Brewers' Angel Zerpa: Shipped to Milwaukee
4h agoThe Royals traded Zerpa to the Brewers on Saturday in exchange for Isaac Collins and Nick Mears, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Zerpa finished the 2025 season with a 4.18 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 64.2 innings while also recording 14 holds. The Brewers aren't hurting for high-leverage arms with Trevor Megill, Abner Uribe and Jared Koenig already making up the back end of their bullpen, so Zerpa will likely be limited to middle-relief duty with his new club.

Dustin May BOS SP
Cardinals' Dustin May: Signs with Cardinals
6h agoMay signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on Saturday that includes a mutual option for 2027, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
May set a new career high with 132.1 innings pitched between the Dodgers and Red Sox in 2025, though his 4.96 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in the regular season both marked significant regression from previous years. Despite his recent struggles, the 28-year-old righty should have little trouble claiming a spot in a Cardinals rotation that doesn't feature much depth following the departure of Sonny Gray.
-
Nick Frasso LAD SP
Dodgers' Nick Frasso: Re-signs with Dodgers
8h agoFrasso (undisclosed) signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Saturday, Aram Leighton of JustBaseball.com reports.
After turning in a 5.49 ERA and 1.58 WHIP over 77 innings at Triple-A Oklahoma City this past season and being non-tendered by the Dodgers in November, Frasso will officially return to the organization for 2026. The 27-year-old is still waiting on his first promotion to the majors, but he will likely need to show significant improvement in the minors before getting a chance to join the Dodgers' talented pitching staff.
-
Kenley Jansen LAA RP
Tigers' Kenley Jansen: Joins Tigers on one-year deal
8h agoJansen signed a one-year, $11 million contract with the Tigers on Saturday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Jansen's new deal also includes a club option for the 2027 season, per Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic. The 38-year-old has yet to show signs of slowing down, as he finished the 2025 campaign with a 2.59 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 59 innings while collecting 29 saves with the Angels. Now set to spend his 17th MLB season in Detroit, the right-hander will likely begin 2026 as the team's closer, moving Will Vest and Kyle Finnegan into setup roles.
-
Moe Wagner ORL C
Magic's Moritz Wagner: To miss at least four more games
1h agoHead coach Jamahl Mosley said Saturday that Wagner (knee) won't be available during Orlando's upcoming four-game road trip, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Wagner has yet to make his season debut after undergoing surgery in January to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. The big man's next opportunity to play will come against the Hornets on Friday, Dec. 26.
-
Robert Williams III POR C
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Questionable to face Golden State
1h agoWilliams (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Warriors.
Williams is under the weather and may miss his third consecutive contest. With Donovan Clingan (lower leg) and Yang Hansen (face) also listed as questionable, the Trail Blazers could be thin in the frontcourt against Golden State.
-
Yang Hansen POR C
Trail Blazers' Yang Hansen: Iffy for Sunday
2h agoHansen (face) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Warriors.
Hansen is in jeopardy of missing his second consecutive contest due to a facial contusion. However, if the rookie is cleared to play, he could see increased minutes if Donovan Clingan (lower leg) is downgraded from questionable to out.
-
Matisse Thybulle POR SF
Trail Blazers' Matisse Thybulle: Remains out indefinitely
2h agoThybulle (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Golden State.
Thybulle underwent surgery in late October to repair a torn UCL in his left thumb and is without a timetable for a return. He can be considered week-to-week until the Trail Blazers offer an update on his recovery.
-
Jrue Holiday POR PG
Trail Blazers' Jrue Holiday: Ruled out for Sunday
2h agoHoliday (calf) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Warriors.
Holiday hasn't played since Nov. 14 due to a right calf strain and will remain sidelined Sunday. The veteran point guard is without a timetable for a return and should be considered doubtful for Thursday's game against the Kings until Portland provides an update on his status.
-
Cason Wallace OKC PG
Thunder's Cason Wallace: Not starting vs. San Antonio
2h agoWallace won't start against the Spurs on Saturday, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.
With the Thunder's starting five at full strength for the first time this season, Wallace will slide to the second unit against San Antonio. Over his last five outings, the 22-year-old guard has averaged 6.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 2.4 assists in 23.2 minutes per contest.
-
Sidney Crosby PIT C
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Two-point effort against San Jose
4m agoCrosby delivered a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
The future Hall of Famer got the Penguins on the board midway through the first period before helping to set up Bryan Rust for a tally just before the second intermission. Crosby has points in four straight games and seven of the last eight, and on the season he's produced 19 goals and 34 points in 30 contests -- putting him two points away tying the legendary Mario Lemieux in first place on the Penguins' all-time scoring list.
-
Domenick Fensore CAR D
Hurricanes' Domenick Fensore: Racks up three points
6m agoFensore scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 4-2 win over Milwaukee on Saturday.
Fensore has been bouncing between levels this season due to the Hurricanes' numerous injuries on the blue line. Following his most recent NHL stint, he returned to the AHL with three scoreless outings before breaking out of the slump Saturday. He's at four goals, 14 helpers and a plus-7 rating across 20 appearances for the Wolves and will be the next man up whenever there's a concern on Carolina's blue line.
-
Bryan Rust PIT RW
Penguins' Bryan Rust: Three PP points in OT loss
8m agoRust produced a goal and two assists, all on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
It was the second straight multi-point performance for Rust, and his first game with multiple power-play points since Nov. 6. The veteran winger is up to 10 goals and 26 points in 28 contests on the season, and he's been thriving with the man advantage -- 14 of those points (three goals, 11 helpers) have come on the power play.
-
Henry Rybinski WAS RW
Capitals' Henrik Rybinski: Goal, assist in AHL win
10m agoRybinski scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Hershey's 4-0 win over Charlotte on Saturday.
Rybinski is doing alright with three goals, 13 points and a plus-3 rating over 21 appearances this season. He's earned five points over his last six outings. While the offense is decent, the 24-year-old doesn't appear to be in immediate contention for a call-up should the Capitals need to add reinforcements to the NHL roster.
-
Ivan Miroshnichenko WAS LW
Capitals' Ivan Miroshnichenko: Collects two points
11m agoMiroshnichenko scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Hershey's 4-0 win over Charlotte on Saturday.
Miroshnichenko has three multi-point efforts in 12 outings this year after previously dealing with an upper-body injury. He's at four goals, five assists, 39 shots on net, 21 PIM and a minus-1 rating so far. The winger likely still needs some time to get his offense to a higher level before he'll be a call-up candidate for the Capitals.
-
Anthony Mantha PIT RW
Penguins' Anthony Mantha: Big day on power play
12m agoMantha scored a goal and added two assists, all on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Sharks.
After helping to set up tallies by Sidney Crosby in the first period and Bryan Rust in the second, Mantha potted his own early in the third, giving the Penguins a 5-1 lead that somehow slipped away. It was Mantha's first multi-point performance since Oct. 25, and on the season the veteran winger has 10 goals and 20 points in 30 contests.
