Angels' Brennon Lund: Sidelined to begin MiLB season
Triple-A Salt Lake placed Lund on its 7-day injured list Tuesday due to an unspecified issue.
A 2016 11th-round draft pick, Lund will be returning to Salt Lake for the third season in a row after posting a .686 OPS across 310 plate appearances for the affiliate in 2021. The 27-year-old outfielder isn't on the Angels' 40-man roster and looks to be viewed mostly as an organizational depth piece at this stage of his career.
