  • Oilers' Tommy Lafreniere: Pops off with five points

Lafreniere scored twice and added three assists in WHL Kamloops' 9-5 win over Calgary on Saturday. Lafreniere logged his sixth multi-goal game of the season, but this was his best performance all year. With the burst of offense, the Oilers prospect is up to 24 goals and 20 helpers through 33 appearances. He's well on his way to surpassing the 56 points he had in 68 regular-season outings with the Blazers last year, and he's already matched his goal total from 2024-25.

  • Oilers' Tommy Lafreniere: Pots pair in WHL win

Lafreniere scored twice on five shots in WHL Kamloops' 4-3 overtime win over Regina on Monday. This may be just what Lafreniere needed to spark his season. The 18-year-old winger is now at four goals and one assist over seven games for the Blazers. He had 56 points and a minus-33 rating in 68 regular-season outings last year before he was selected 83rd overall by the Oilers in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
