Ramapo College sealed a New Jersey Athletic Conference title on Friday night in memorable fashion.
With the game tied at 64 after a made free throw from New Jersey City University, Ramapo tossed the ensuing inbounds play near mid-court to Josh Ford, who found his trailing teammate, Thomas Bonacum. Bonacum took care of the rest, sealing the win as the whole place erupted.
The hero of the night, Bonacum, finished with 20 points and added nine rebounds. He was appropriately dog-piled for his shot, which helped clinch a sixth NCAA tournament berth for Ramapo College and its head coach Chuck McBreen.
