D'Onta Foreman meets Earl Campbell after tying the Texas legend's record
There was a lot of respect shown both ways despite Texas' tough loss on Saturday
Texas couldn't quite knock off West Virginia at home, but its star player got some much-deserved respect from a Longhorn great.
During Saturday's game, junior running back D'Onta Foreman was congratulated by Texas legend Earl Campbell for tying his school record of 11 straight 100-yard games. Foreman reached the century mark during the first half of Saturday's game against the Mountaineers.

As he has been all year, Foreman was a workhorse during the first 30 minutes, touching the ball nearly two dozen times in the first half. He was used less in the second half of the 24-20 loss but still totaled 167 yards on the afternoon.
Foreman can break Campbell's record at Kansas in Week 12. Barring an injury, he should be able to do just that.
