WATCH: Kansas coach wants you to commit because he can ride a hoverboard
Part of Kansas coach David Beaty's recruiting pitch is that he's adept at riding a hoverboard
When you're the Kansas football coach, you have to be a little creative with your recruiting pitch.
There's not a history of success -- or recent success -- to lean on, so you're selling kids on coming in and starting a tradition. That's not easy to do, so you also have to sell yourself as a coach they want to play under.
David Beaty does that by showing off his hoverboard skills for recruits.

That's better than I can do on a hoverboard, so I'm not one to say it's not impressive, and it seems to work as three-star WR Reggie Roberson, a Kansas commit, enjoys Coach Beaty's antics on the hoverboard.
Beaty better be careful in asking what other coaches can do this, because next thing you know Harbaugh is going to be riding two hoverboards at the same time while wearing 15 jerseys.
