UAB hires UNC assistant Jerod Haase to replace Davis
UAB has hired North Carolina assistant Jerod Haase to replace Mike Davis, sources told CBSSports.com.
Haase, 37, played at Kansas for Roy Williams and has been on Williams' staff for nearly a decade at North Carolina. He is also the head coach of the junior varsity programs.
Haase began his career at Cal before transferring to Kansas, where he started 99 games and scored more than 1,200 points.
He is a native of California.
