Padres' Matt Kemp: Out of lineup Wednesday

Kemp is out of the lineup in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

It doesn't seem like this is anything other than a normal game off to allow the veteran to stay fresh. There is a good chance he could play in the night game of the doubleheader after resting in the afternoon. Alex Dickerson is getting the start in left field and hitting sixth for Game 1 Wednesday.
