Rays' Wilson Ramos: Successful first catching session Tuesday

Ramos (knee) did well in his first catching session Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The veteran backstop's recovery from right knee surgery continues to move forward in a positive direction, with Tuesday's marking his first bullpen after starting some general work behind the plate last week. Ramos has stated that he'd like to get back to primarily working at catcher once he is fully recovered, although it's worth noting that fellow offseason acquisition Derek Norris has been playing much better offensively as of late.
